RECENT FUNDRAISING EVENTS
Our Teams of Volunteers, Staff, Event Coordinators and Friends of the Society are constantly working on new ideas and events to raise much needed funds.
On this page you can see some of the recent projects that have made amazing contributions to The Society and the Hospital as a whole.
SOSU - Urban Bible
Suzanne Jackson from SOSU by Suzanne Jackson expressed her gratitude to our wonderful staff at Connolly Hospital by donating the cherished Urban Bible eyeshadow palettes.
The staff were so delighted to receive such a generous gift and this really put a twinkle in their eye. It’s the little things that mean so much !
Virtual United Airlines New York 1/2 MARATHON
Over the weekend of March 19, 20 & 21, Sarah, Rob and Louise undertook to run the Virtual United Airlines NYC Half Marathon.
The terrific trio raised €560, which will be used to purchase equipment to enhance patient comforts.
St. Peregrine's GAA Club
In July 2020, Cumann Naomh Peregrine CLG, in particular Gavin and Jennifer Moore organised an amazing fundraiser “24km in 24 Hours Challenge”, which involved the Club, their Members and their local community.
Thanks to them, The Health Services Credit Union and Lisa Farrelly, a whopping €12,000 was donated towards the cost of Infusion Chairs for our Cancer Patients.
DNH Step Challenge

The members of Dublin North Hockey Club took part in a ‘Step Challenge’ fundraiser in January and raised a fantastic €1000.
They decided to support Blanchardstown Hospital Society and Connolly Hospital to show their appreciation to the frontline staff in our hospital who cared for Martin, the former Club Chairman, when he had to be admitted to Connolly Hospital with Covid 19.
Martin, his family and the Club are thankful for the medical care and attention that he received and are delighted with his recovery.
Tom and the wonderful team of Drivers from Musgrave, Kilcock decided that they wanted to give something back to their Local Hospital, during these difficult times.
Thanks to them and their families a wonderful donation of €2400 was made.
Management, Staff and Members of the businesses at Junction 6 Castleknock organised and donated to the “555 Fundraiser”.
A person would run 5km, donate €5 and then nominate five others to continue the challenge.
By the end of the event, a fantastic €1554 was raised to benefit the staff of the hospital.
Local Hospital. They put on a Talent Show and sold treats to their friends and neighbours.
