Our Teams of Volunteers, Staff, Event Coordinators and Friends of the Society are constantly working on new ideas and events to raise much needed funds.

Sky Dive 2021
Our amazing staff, and friends and families of our staff, at Connolly Hospital will always go that extra mile for our patient’s benefit. Sometimes that might even involve jumping out of plane!
Our inaugural Sky Dive for Blanchardstown Hospital Society began on 7th September 2021 when 4 of our volunteers got to take that leap of faith at The Irish Parachute Club, Clonbulloge, Co. Offaly. Thankfully, they all survived and told their tales of excitement, nerves and exhilaration to anyone who would listen. This is our biggest fundraiser this year and it will be continuing indefinitely until all of our 33 volunteer Sky Divers complete their jumps. This is definitely one to add to your ‘bucket list’. Thank you so much to all of our Sky Divers for putting in so much effort to fundraise and we are immensely thankful to all who have made and continue to make donations on their behalf.
Sky Dive 2021
Suzanne Jackson from SOSU by Suzanne Jackson expressed her gratitude to our wonderful staff at Connolly Hospital by donating the cherished Urban Bible eyeshadow palettes.
The staff were so delighted to receive such a generous gift and this really put a twinkle in their eye. It’s the little things that mean so much !
Virtual United Airlines New York 1/2 MARATHON
Over the weekend of March 19, 20 & 21, Sarah, Rob and Louise undertook to run the Virtual United Airlines NYC Half Marathon.
The terrific trio raised €560, which will be used to purchase equipment to enhance patient comforts.
SELECTION BOX @ THE WREN's NeST!
The Selection Box Comedy Team (which includes our very own Mick Roban) were delighted and excited to make a welcome return to The Wren’s Nest Pub, Strawberry Beds, Dublin along with some friends from the world of local Drama and Comedy.
They had two great nights of Music, Laughter and Drama on Thursday 30th September and Friday 1st October 2021 supporting Blanchardstown Hospital Society.
St. Peregrine's GAA Club
In July 2020, Cumann Naomh Peregrine CLG, in particular Gavin and Jennifer Moore organised an amazing fundraiser “24km in 24 Hours Challenge”, which involved the Club, their Members and their local community.
Thanks to them, The Health Services Credit Union and Lisa Farrelly, a whopping €12,000 was donated towards the cost of Infusion Chairs for our Cancer Patients.
WORLD DEMENTIA DAY
21st September, 2021 marked World Alzheimer’s Day.
The dedicated Connolly Hospital Dementia Nursing Service and Integrated Care Team organised a Dementia Awareness Day and they included a Raffle to fundraise for Blanchardstown Hospital Society.

WORLD PHYSIO DAY
Thank you to our Physiotherapy team, both staff and students for including our hospital Charity in their celebrations of World Physiotherapy Day on 8th September 2021.
The industrious team organised a raffle and several events on the day and raised €644.
Always a super team to get involved and put the work in.
Local Hospital. They put on a Talent Show and sold treats to their friends and neighbours.
